Day with a designer is perfect for the client who is looking to polish their spaces with our in-stock products–or fully custom options– depending on their desired style and timelines.


Clients receive expert design guidance, support and advice as they embark on a design project full of furniture and decor that fits their needs and style for their space(s). Clients can decide how many spaces they want to focus on from a single room to an entire residence.

How it Works

A principal of Design for the PPL will visit your home or set up a virtual visit–for a walk-through consultation of your space.

2. Design Session

We will host you in-studio–with bubbles and bites–and discuss all of your design needs, large and small.

3. Install Day

Finally, we schedule the install day for the whole team to work their magic and for your to enjoy your newly designed space.

What does Day with a Designer cost?

- $2,500 for all local Spokane clients
- $3,000 for North Idaho 

- Remote Day with a Designer varies depending on location

*this is a flat fee and clients can focus few or as many space(s) as they want for their DWD.

How do we have a design session if I don't live near your studio?

We come to you for both the initial visit/walk through of your space(s) and the final install. In between, that time we work remotely with clients (video conferences etc) to make decisions and it works perfectly. Of course we welcome clients to our studio and showroom anytime. 

Do clients keep some of their own furniture?

Yes, of course. We love working with furniture and decor that our PPL love. We work with those items and bring them into the design.

If you'd like your own decor and accessories in the final design we ask that they are placed in an area that's easily accessible for our design team.

How long does this take, start to finish?

Once a client is committed to our Day with A Designer, our team will visit their space(s) within about 2 weeks for local clients and about 6 weeks for remote clients. From there, our team will be ready to present within 1-2 weeks.

Next comes procurement of the furniture. Typically the process takes 1-3 months start to finish depending on lead times of desired furniture. For instance, clients who desire more custom items will take longer to create and ship than our in-stock items.

$2500 for all local Spokane clients

$3000 for North Idaho

How do we have a design session if I don't live near your studio?

We come to you for both the initial visit/walk through of your space(s) and the final install. In between, that time we work remotely with clients (video conferences etc) to make decisions and it works perfectly. Of course we welcome clients to our studio and showroom anytime. 

How do I prepare for Install Day?

The actual day of install is scheduled when all the client's items have either been selected from our in-stock inventory or ordered items have arrived safely at our warehouse. When the day is scheduled we politely ask that all owners are out of the house so that our install team can work their magic. We also send a detailed checklist to the homeowner about what to expect.

We ask that the spaces are "move-in ready" and clutter-free. Most clients leave their furniture that they wish to keep in it's original location.

How long does the install take?

Depending on the amount of spaces, it usually takes about 8-10 hours for our design team to complete the spaces with furniture, art and decor. Then, the clients are able to come to their spaces for the big reveal! (Yes, it's like HGTV but we are the real deal).

From there, clients have 72 hours to decide if they would like to keep/exchange any furniture, decor or art. Our install team comes back to pick up/make exchanges at the request of the client. And then comes the fairytale ending...the clients love where they dwell. The End.
